We are the Angels
Auyán is a luxury bottled water brand based in Southern California, committed to making a global impact. A portion of every bottle sold supports clean water initiatives for communities in need, in partnership with Charity:Water. By transforming everyday purchases into lasting change, Auyán blends elegance with purpose.
The brush stroke serves as a central graphic element in this project — a symbol of agency and transformation. It reflects the idea of drawing the change we wish to see, with the hope that one day, we can pass the brush to others, empowering them to shape their own future. The typography explores themes of duality and reflection, inspired by the way light interacts with water — revealing subtle shifts, depth, and clarity.

The brand.
Auyán from Angel Falls
Sourcing water from the world’s tallest waterfall, Auyán is dedicated to providing clean water to those in need, funded through the revenue generated from bottle sales.
Auyán-tepui is a mountain range in Bolivar, Venezuela. The literal translation means Devli’s House in local Pemon language.
Also a play on words and meaning. Why not leverage the devil to help those in need?
For this project, I sourced the bottle from glassmaker Fados on Taobao. While this isn’t an official collaboration, the Punt Bottle’s design, inspired by waterfalls and shaped like a water droplet, aligned perfectly with the concept.
Event space.
Teshima Art Museum
The first event will be held at Teshima Art Museum, Japan, a space inspired by water droplets, making it the perfect place to share our mission of providing clean water to those in need.

Water to brush to stroke
The Brand Icons are extracted from the exploration below, using the brush stroke from a Chinese calligraphy brush, blending water and art into one.
The posters.
We are the angels
Using the brand’s icon, we tell a story of reflection, turning wealth and opulence into a force for good, helping those without such privilege. Like angels wielding the devil’s power, as above, so below.
